I have to agree with Paul. Why spend your life avoiding some of the simple pleasures. I am 86 years old and just had my annual physical witch I passed with flying colors. My Cardiologist said my heart was is good shape and I didn’t have to worry about a heart attack.
I’m like Earl in that I indulge myself with chocolate and other things. Maybe not to the extent that he does, but I don’t worry about it. I’ve gotten this far in life without major problems.
indeed. while there is a balance, i don’t want the doctor forcing medication on me to keep me well, an occasional indulgence is a good idea. when you say i would love to eat blank as a last meal, and never get to have it, then what’s the point of living? i’m stealing from a nora ephron interview, here
Much like Earl, the more I learn about myself, the more I come to realize how fascinating I am. For example, it is fascinating how quickly I put people to sleep telling them how fascinating I am.
sorry, Night-Gaunt49, but I just can’t agree. But then, the Doctors want me to maintain or even gain weight while on Chemo/radiation…so maybe I’m just an exception

Earl’s motto is: if you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, then baffle them with bulls**t!

I know people who do the same with ice cream or chips or cookies, so why not Hershey Kisses, especially the cherry flavored ones!
