Back in the late 50s, my grandmother used to complain about a certain morning radio show. Couldn’t stand the DJ. When I asked her why she didn’t change the station, she shrugged and said it was “Too much trouble”.
I think they watch the show so they have something to complain about. As that is what they like to do. I have learned to walk away and say nothing. Plus for them they can complain I walked away.
Bummer for them. No streaming service like Netflix or on demand from their cable service. They actually plan their tv viewing according to how the networks schedule their programming. How quaint so 20th Century & then they watch filler to kill time

Wow…. Crustwood Channel 7 is more sophisticated than I thought!
Â
Reruns of late-night cable, like the Daily Show, at 6pm?
Guest stars like John Waters while the kiddies are up?
Â
Of course the Pennys hate it.
No spinning wheels or flashing lights…
nobody winning a brand new kitchen….
Â
And on top of that, they can’t understand what anybody is talking about.

I can’t imagine them actually watching that John Grisham movie on the top of the TV. Not at all their type of film.
