The only people to blame are the American people. You can go back to the 60s when the wife of a UAW worker opts to save $1 by buying a pack of tube socks manufactured in Pakistan as opposed to the US. A 19" b/w tv was $220+ in 1960 (average wage $2.25 hour) about $1,700 today.
