Once my family went to a new restaurant and as we were looking for a place to sit (it was one of those seat-yourselves style) my dad kept walking straight going towards the back of the dining area. He got nose to nose with a mirror and looked around confused. Turned out the huge, wall-sized mirror had him thinking that the dining area continued on. We all got a kick out of that. We kept asking him how he didn’t notice himself getting closer to himself as he got near the mirror? His answer then and still is, that he didn’t see his own reflection, he was looking over his own shoulder in the mirror. To this day, that’s one of our family’s all-time favorite stories to tell when we get together.

Actually, it reminds her it’s a mirror so she doesn’t frighten herself when she sees herself in it.
