Why is Joy’s speech balloon coming from Verla??

This comic was originally drawn in 2013, about two months in from when the strip started. My guess is Julie was still getting used to how speech balloons work. Later strips show she improved considerably in the speech balloon department, but the quality of the ‘find it’s’ suffered as a result.
