I understand that. When it’s 105 outside, we keep the inside temp at 79 or 80. Anything below 79 is cold! But then in the winter, we keep the indoor temp at 72 and it feels fine. Go figure.
78 is my temp. BUT here is the funny part. Overnight the AC off until 9 am. BUT I have a window AC in my bedroom and I set that 72, I sleep like a baby
I gotta give ‘em this one……..they should just get out in the (insert DRAGNET theme here…)…..swimming pool…….I wouldn’t get in there myself, but I’m not the one sweltering away at the moment…….
I set my AC at 79 during the day and turn it down to 74 at 5 pm. With the heat it runs from about 3 pm until I get up the next morning. It loses ground too with the temperature getting up to 81 or 82.

I’ve got mine at 74 and I’m sitting here with a comforter over me.

What do they care about the outside temperature when they control their climate indoors to the exact degree?

Because they are afraid their electric bill will be high
