Yup! The addict feels remorse when he’s busted, but the moment he gets out of jail he runs back to the pusher man.

When all that oil stops washing up on the beaches in the Gulf, when the clean-up is finished, when precautions are in place to make sure nothing like it happens again, then cartoons about it might be “old news”. The BP disaster is hardly a subject that could be exhausted in a 24-hour, 7-day, or one-month news cycle.

Oil dependency: The gift that keeps on giving.

On which shore is Peter standing when he sends his question… Or would the better question be which shore is he on when he gets his answer?

I guess it don’t matter because it’s in poor taste!

Not appropriate - and incorrect. If the Coast Guard had let BP handle the original fire on the rig, there wouldn’t have been an uncontrolled release that took over two months to fix.

^If BP had not disconnected the warning sirens and done shoddy work and cut corners, there wouldn’t have been a fire to start with. It is entirely their fault that this happened. Now, show me the proof that the Coast Guard told them they could not handle the original fire on the rig.
