    @mugens

    Redskin is not a slur, and the team was named in honor of a particular amerind.

    Amerind…I’d never heard/read the word. According to Wiki: “Amerind may refer to: Amerind peoples, also Amerindians, the indigenous peoples of the Americas”

    Wonderful! I love it when I learn of new words and their meanings. I would have said Native American.

    The irony is, the Carolina Panthers lost last week…for the only time this season.

    I was discussing a certain Item on My Expense Account with my Sales Manager, at the end of the discussion, he said “I imagine that somehow we’ll be paying for this anyway.” I said, “Well, Someone other than me will.” By the way, He was right!

    I’ve long thought that sports interviews can be largely written without the player saying anything. There are two versions of answers, those for winning and those for losing. Player-to-player, the script usually uses the same sentences.
