El Pollo del Hombre Verdad. The bone is to hold the chicken, the chicken is to hold the breading, the breading is to hold the sauce. It’s all essential.
Haven’t been to it in years but a local BBQ place had three levels of sauce: mild, Hot, and FLAMMABLE. The last was stored cold in a fridge and served in a metal bowl. By the time it was brought to you (By Request Only) the metal bowl was warm to the touch!
Am I the only one who can taste the sauce and the chicken together and how they combine to improve each other? Does no one else appreciate that the chicken is not just a delivery system, and the sauce would be poorer without it? I must be a freak.

I’ve never understood what the wings were for - it’s only about how HOT they make the sauce.

The sauce really does need the chicken to make it really good.

If that’s what the Wings do to him, imagine what Hot Thighs would do…

When they advertise hot, they had indeed better be spicy.
