BLAM!
BOOM!
BLAM!
WOMAN: SO TABSCO SAUCE ON THE PLANT LEAVES IS DOING THE TRICK. ANY OTHER SOLUTIONS FOR GARDEN PESTS?
CHARLEY: well, I've got a method thats been working pretty well for me lately.
Gardenn Club
The cleverness of strips like this one is the paradox of pirates who happen to live in a normal modern world and who belong to garden clubs. (The mice in planes is carrying things too far.)
I can relate to this one. The deer totally destroyed all my beautiful bean plants this year. Then July came and we had no more rain and consistent temps in the high 90s, so the replants just died.
I did buy the electric eye triggered water traps for next year though. Pretty much the same idea as Charley’s, though less laborious.
Charley, the rabbits keep you sharp, okay? Because of them, you gardeners stay focused…you stay strong! So as crazy as it might sound, you need the rabbits to stay around!
(The reasoning’s no stupider than it was yesterday…)

Love this one Chip! More humans, like Jonas and the mice, but it’s nice to see some other humans!

Charlie, that’s the right way to honor the rabbits; give them a 21-gun salute.

cannons: good for rabbits, bad for aphids.

Wow, i hate see the holes Charley did to the ship trying to do pest control.

Looks more like a water cannon. That sure is a work-intensive method, Charley.

You think rabbits are bad, try deer.

Tends to be hard on the plants though, they basically end up as cannon fodder…

Why does that cannon look like it’s throwing up?

They just need a few cars to drive around and there won’t be any more, just like in our neighborhood!
