I used to take Thermos lunches to school in the first grade. But that was a cheap one that really didn’t do much of anything. By the time lunch came around, what ever was in it was room temp. If you really want to keep things hot or cold, you need a really good stainless steel Thermos. I’ve put ice and water into the one I have now and I’ve still had ice in it the next day. And if you want to take something hot in it, it’s best to let some hot water sit in it for a while first.
