Yeah, I always forget about Nick until we see him again and then I wonder where he was when this and that happened. E.g. the TV binge story-line last week. Did they just stash him in the popcorn bowl or something? IMHO the cartoonist should just quietly drop him and pretend he never existed because he basically serves no purpose at all. They do that in sitcoms a lot.
