I love kale, but like with turnip greens and spinach, it’s best with large amounts of vinegar.

Let’s see, the choices. Live a long time eating kale or a enjoy a shorter life eating food. I’ll take the short life, thanks.

Ugh, if you ask me, Kale’s that food that’ll be a fad for a year or so… and then fade when everyone remembers that it tastes like iceberg lettuce mixed with cement.

Yeah kale is a fad. Take a food that the pioneers ate in the winter solely because nothing else was available and they were desperate, and sell now it to yuppies! They can’t get enough! Never mind that it’s more woody than oak leaves (or heck, oak branches!), it’s the IN THING!!! It’s something NEW!!! It’s got one-upmanship cachet!

    Sheeple. Really.

Most green veggies don’t release vitamin content unless warmed. Too much heat, too long and the vitamin is cooked off.

Kale can be used as a garnish for Russian Salad Dressing, if there aren’t many other choices available.
