Of course the recession is over! You believe your government don’t you?

Some snow showers are forecasted for my area today in the afternoon. I am waiting to see what happens.

So jealous……don’t have any snow within 500 miles of our location……

And B.C. had no idea the topography around his front door?!?

Snow is great! — until one has to go someplace in it.

How elevated is BC before he steps out? If he’s level with the top of the snow, then his cave must have a considerable step down that ht’e suddenly forgotten about. If the cave doesn’t have a step down, then why is he level with the top of the snow??

How’s come they are never cold?

Is the snow powder ( dry snow )or is it “good pack’in”. ( wet snow )

Not only are the sticks bare, but so are his legs…

Reminds me of The Parent Trap (the original; don’t know if a similar stunt was performed in the remake). I must say that I’m envious of my folks – 3’ of snow in their recent series of storms, and counting. I miss such delights.

I am sure the climate is changing; why when I was just a toddler walking outside after a recent snowfall, the snow was always up to my waist…

When I was stationed in New England many years ago, we had a blizzard that deposited about 40 inches of snow. However with the wind some spots were bare and other spots were drifted. We had about a 10 foot drift that started about a foot from our back door.

The kids thought it was fun, and they and the dog managed to climb over the drift. Us adults were too heavy to follow them.

One day another employee called in to take the day off because of the road conditions where he lived. The next day he told me what had happened, he was on his way to work, driving along the back roads by his house where the snowplows hadn’t reached yet, when he came to a part of the road where there weren’t any tracks. As he looked at the prestine snow he suddenly realized that that particular part of the road had a shallow dip between 2 small hills, but the tip wasn’t there. He realized that he was looking at a snow drift filling in the dip and decided to go back home and call in to work.

There’s no business like SNOW business.

Man asks frog on Lilly pad, “How Deep’s the water?”.

Frog responds, “Knee deep, knee deep.”(If you don’t know the sounds of frogs, this will make no sense.)
