Granddads sure say the darndest things to their grandchildren.

Grandpa was just horsing around.

At his age, Grampa’s are squishy too.

Grandpa really needs to quit talking to that kid until he’s old enough to know when and when not to take things so literally.

In my autistic view, oatmeal is something NOT to feel.

Kids at that age can be very literal. When I was that age, my Mom took me to the airport to see my dad get on the plane, and I was very upset when he got inside, instead.

nelson needs to learn the meaning of simile and metaphor, especially dealing with older folks who use phrases you don’t hear much anymore. geez Louise, otherwise this whippersnapper will never learn
