We humans are a gut bacteria of planet Earth. A bit like a Candida outbreak at the moment, but as conscious gut bacteria there is hope for a healthy (shorter term) outcome..Luckily there is ultimately no death, just recycling.

There’s a traditional rhyme which goes

Big fleas have little fleasUpon their backs to bite ’em,And little fleas have lesser fleasAnd so ad infinitum.

A recent study on face mites has shown that not only are there species specialized to the different races. But here is where it gets weird, On our faces and the faces of our familiar members mites mix freely with normal human contact. This means, some of the mites on your face are from your great grand parents.Or your ex-wife, that nearly drove you to ruin. That bully who head butted you in the 6th gradeYour first kissThe skank your husband cheated on, (who knows where else he put his face on her)Your sibling/relative/significant other who died from (insert cause here)The random permutations of colonies mixing is mind boggling.Imagine what gets spread at the kissing booth!

I once had a professor that would tell us we (humans) are collectively less than a speck of dust on a flea’s back when compared to the universe. I think his main goal was to get us to comprehend just how big the known and unknown universe is. Worked on me.
