Cathy: Just because it's in our hotel room, we don't have to open it. Irving: I just want to peek. Cathy: We don't need to peek! We know what's in there! Irving: It's so tempting! Cathy: The cost is too great! Irving: It's our vacation! Cathy: Ok! We'll do it together! Just one little... Irving: AACK! I have 146 new e-mails!! Cathy: I thought we weren't peeking in the MINI-BAR! Irving: Nah! That's just full of overpriced chips and chocolate!

I am blocking Farmville on our vacation so I don’t come home to a thousand or so requests, lol! I may do myself a favor and block it for good ;)
BTW, skip the mini-bar and find a store. Why don’t they get out and do something instead of just do what they always do at home.

I’ve told everyone that I have hidden Farmville and all the dozens of other games they play on FB. I only want to see real news about all my friends, not get imaginary presents and requests for help with imaginary projects.

I feel so out of it! At least I just learned that there’s a Farm-ville on FaceBook (I’ve never been on FaceBook myself). But I still can’t see what it is that makes anyone say “Cathy looks trim.” What I see is that her blouse is shaped like the Great Pyramid of Cheops before it disappears out of the bottom of the frame, leaving me gratefully unable to see her waistline. (I’m assuming that that isn’t her bustline I see down there below her elbows.) I guess I’ll just never understand women.

I gave up all Facebook Games and Apps at least 6 months ago…
Ah, how nice it is to not feel obsessed with the notion of getting up in the wee hours just to see if I can catch an imaginary ghost or to harvest imaginary crops.
I’ve been trying to convince my wife to do the same. Of course, I could always block apps.facebook.com on the router…
But then again, I don’t like sleeping on the floor… ;-)
