Chesney needs to go catch himself a mouse. Beviek – I love the cat on the roomba who has to wash his paw after slapping the dog. And the big cat and little cat are just too funny! Last Rose – when I think your pictures can’t get any cuter, you show me they can! Rikkie Tavi – It always amazes me when dogs are intimidated by a cat. Too funny! Pacopuddy – a life other than Gocomics? Really??
Susan just brought back the black ones. The solid black one is a boy. The other one (white on its face) is a girl. Honey Bee (yes, it’s her real name) took the tabby to work with it along with 2 from another shelter.
She said Lulu is like a different cat! She eats, she’s perky and is taking her meds like a good girl.
I think I’m going to hold off on the letters to the retirement places until Lulu is off her meds. I want to see what her true personality is.

News item from Graham’s home town: The recently opened “Catfe” has had to close down because all their cats have been adopted. The cafe will re-open as soon as the SPCA can supply more cats..http://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/b-c-cat-cafe-temporarily-closes-after-running-out-of-cats-1.2725499
Chesney: the first thing I thought when I read today’s strip was that you deserve a good paddy whack on your posterior! Ungrateful little fur ball!!!!
@Queen: Your and Brad’s decision to permanently foster Ms. Lulu just brought me such satisfaction. Now the wait to see her true personality…pain free. And I so love the kitten updates too. Bet the little tabby will socialize well with all the attention. That little black/white kitten looks like my Christopher!
All the pictures and gifs today are fab. Thanks to you all.
Finally…Ppyfss: keep calm…keep calm. You will see how Precious and Buster respond to their new digs if you control your mood.
Taking a break from moving boxes around. The kids have done great. They weren’t sure the first night on Monday when I brought them over, but since so much of the stuff was familiar and smelled like home they both settled down within a few hours, crawled up on me and went to sleep. They really have been good except for getting up on things. They never did that at the old place. They just need a rule refresher. I am stiff from the fall day before yesterday. I have a scraped shin and two very sore knees. I have bruised on my hands where I landed, but I have several from just moving stuff. My hips are fine and don’t hurt, so I should be okay. We have one more large load, bedroom furniture, that hopefully we can do either Friday or Monday. We can borrow a trailer again. Just won’t have extra muscle. Not sure how we will move a couple of things with just one old man with bad knees and me, but we’ll figure something out. Definitely will need good thoughts and prayers. My old landlady wants me out by the 15th so don’t have as much time as I thought I would. Moving bits and pieces every day. Had to go over at k5 this morning. No one had brought anything for the kids to claw. They don’t claw the furniture, but this morning they just could not contain themselves any longer. As I said, they have been great. Even Precious has been braver. She just sat on some boxes while the Cable/phone guy was here (I am not in a studio so there is no place to hide). The noises from the hall still make her nervous, but she is getting better about them even. Buster sits at the open balcony door (screen door is closed) and even that isn’t a constant spot. He is laying on the arm of the chair right now watching me type.As long as the weather holds and there isn’t anymore ice or snow for me to fall on, I should be good. Hopefully, by the end of the month all this will be old hat.Again, think good thoughts and pray for me. It does help. Will check back in when all is moved.
Ok, the turkey treats were not good either. The friend who gave me the tuna treats, (that my cat won’t eat) gave my neighbor (who has 12 cats) the turkey treats and not one of them ate one. My neighbor told me she was going to feed the treats to the local raccoons. I wonder if they will even eat them. I tried one. Yuck! No wonder the cats didn’t want them. I’m burning the recipe and sticking with the store bought treats (for my cat – not me). >^..^<

We had a lot of snow here a couple of winters back. Bucky loved it. He was bouncing around in the backyard.
