The babies are great. Found half of their toys in the shower this morning. One of their beds had been knocked off of the shorter cat tree and scooted across the floor. They have dry kitten kibble all day but at night I give them a can of wet kitten food for an extra full tummy. That bowl was on the other side of the room, too. I heard them playing very late but didn’t go in to see what was going on.

Can’t wait for The Secret Life of Pets movie to come out this year. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Chesney in it!

I just heard from my cousin that the kitten she’s fostering, Koji, will have to have his eyes removed. He has eyelid agenesis and they discovered other problems that mean he can’t go under anesthesia for very long for the reconstructive surgery. Poor little guy. He gets along with the other five cats in the house, for the most part, but she’s hoping he’ll be able to go to another good home. I’m pretty sure someone will want him, he’s very cute.

A very nice young couple came to see the babies. They had only talked about one, not two. However, HE held the boy the entire time and SHE held the girl. They never did switch and both loved the one they had. I explained how getting 2 at this age is better because they play together and sleep together and if both humans are gone all day, they keep each other company. They said they would let me know soon. Let’s keep our collective fingers crossed. I would hate to see them separated.
