I am so tempted to write something I shouldn’t. I’ll just leave it to everyone’s imagination but that screwdriver really looks like a ______! There, that’s so much nicer. I am Canadian, after all.
Why would something even have a self destruct device?Besides, that is an extra cost item. Who pays for it?Ok, we the taxpayers pay for it. Dumb question.
Wouldn’t matter, It would self-destruct while Brewster tried to remember the rhyme, Let’s see…. Lefty, hefty. Righty O? .But, with any luck, Brewster also programmed the self-destruct mechanism, and when it runs down to zero, all that will happen is that the ships’s toilets will run backward.
Is this the end of Brewster Rockit? Is Tim retiring? Is this is his final strip? Tune in tomorrow, same b̶a̶t̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶!̶ ̶s̶a̶m̶e̶ ̶b̶a̶t̶ ̶s̶t̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶!̶ comics page to find out!
“We know we can count on you, Brewster!” will make it into the next edition of “The 700 Stupidist Things Anyone Ever Said” — assuming anyone survives who heard her say it.
When you launch this rocket, sometimes something goes wrong and the rocket, instead of heading for London, turns and goes right toward Hitler’s castle. So you learn to put explosive charges in the frame so if necessary you can rip the rocket open and the thrust goes in all directions and the rocket just falls harmlessly onto some farmer’s house.
Recently a couple of American firms decided to hire China to launch one of their comm satellites. The Chinese Long March lifted off, cleared the launch pad and service tower, then tipped over and flew around the countryside on a merry jaunt, ended up powering downward into some village, obliterating it. Chinese news said there was no problem, but reporters saw caskets by the hundreds. Incompetent imbeciles saved expenses by putting no range safety features in there at all.

No problem, Brewster has a Swiss Army knife in his pocket, he just has to take off his suit to get it.

Jokes often don’t make logical sense, it’s just something you have to accept.
