I remember an Old Milwaukee beer commercial: two guys out in a boat on a lake in the middle of summer. Hot, humid, skeeters everywhere, fish aren’t biting, there’s not a woman in sight, and all they’ve got to drink is Old Milwaukee. One turns to the other and says, “It doesn’t get any better than this!”
I still don’t know if he’s the world’s greatest optimist… or pessimist.

The worst insult you can call somebody is to call him an optimist. The pessimist is never disappointed by what is likely to happen.
