Sigh, indeed. That was some good nostalgia there. Almost as good as the legendary nostalgia of ’72. After Walden went out of the picture. the remaining magic in the strip tended to be techno-magic (Bernie), summer fantasy magic (mostly Mike), or fourth-wall breaking (Mike and Zonker).
