It is amazing how many people can comment on a comic like this, but no one ever explains it to those who don’t get it. Three weeks ago, I posted that “I don’t get it.” And I’ve kept the comic clipping on my desk since. I still don’t get it. Jack Bell wrote: “I guess you had to be there.” Okaaay. But where did I need to be? (I could create a comic that only one other person would get, but I wouldn’t put in the newspaper, because that would be pointless.) Obviously, a number of people do get this, but what connection do they have that explains it to them. What did I miss?
