Ferrets are illegal, way out here in Western Ballard County…Poor little guys..I think that means if they escaped into the wild in California, they’d go straight to jail!

    Bobarion…. and Bev…. I can see them all…

Try refreshing the page or closing and reopening it.

Just don’t let Bucky over on Get Fuzzy catch wind of this. He’ll blow a gasket.

I saw two of those little guys not too long a go! I was driving on Interstate 40 and looked to my right and there were two busily playing in the tree line! Chasing each other and rolling around….ferrets are NOT native to NC.

Marten Fisher’s idea for raising ferrets for fun and profit has gone the way of his mink farming idea and with the same results !

He’s been skunked again by those weaseling polecats.

Stoat fellow that he is, though, he’s not giving up on the musky mustelidae. As soon as he rounds them up, he’ll try again.

He otter stick to raising gerbils or rabbits.

But if he does that then Happy Happy will be hopping mad !

Ferrets are not native to North America. There are no feral colonies at all. Ferrets that escape just die, they don’t reproduce.

when a ferret runs it looks like a mongoose. I saw one running across the driveway, it escaped from a neighbor. The pound returned it to her, not sure how she was able to pull that off. I know another who as several. There is a vet who will see her on the Q.T. too bad it has to be that way. or does it?

My daughter had a couple of ferrets for awhile. Spent a lot of time trying to coax them out from under furniture, etc. I didn’t like them.

I’m almost afraid to post pictures anymore, and I love to post multiple pictures. But I may be offending someone. Everyone has gotten so contentious lately. What I don’t mind and what you don’’t mind is of course, two different things, but I know I can just scroll past and either keep reading or go to another comic. I, at my age, can’t let everything bother me or I will turn into (even more than I am already) a curmudgeon. Are women allowed to be those? As I said before, I miss Gofer Gopher and his sharp wit (and tongue), I’ve learned over the years to appreciate different people for who they are, not who we want them to be.BTW the (recipe “troll”) is a gentle sort who wouldn’t hurt a fly. Insults, real or implied are never ok.

LROS. I am just back from about 5 days in the nether-world of the banned. The only reason I figured it out is that I had left messages for you and Stel, with no response. Then all the information about banning showed up on Ballard Street, and I put two and two together. I went on the site without logging in and lo, no DennisinSeattle.

My transgression was posting a Grumpy Cat photo that included the sh** word. I had no idea.

It would be much more productive and humane if the moderator would simply inform you that you have done something wrong, don’t do it again. This punishment without explanation is very medieval.

Please do not stop posting, you always amplify the jokes in the strip with your selections, it is very enjoyable. I try to do what you do, on a smaller scale.

    Dennis! I had no idea!

I just thought you weren’t posting, for some reason…. I’ve been a bit behind things myself, and lost track.

    Sorry.

And Eldo, as I said yesterday, it’s that way for everybody…. when you’re banned they don’t delete your posts, they make them invisible….all the way back, even your very first comments. That way, if they let you back, which they usually do if you write to them and promise to behave, they make them all visible again.

As for the late turnover… when I read your post about the reply you got from GoComics, I thought they must have mistaken your meaning, and thought you were saying the comics were slow to load on your page.
