When I was a kid in the 60s we used to joke about wishing we had shoes with wheels to make the trek to school easier. Now they have them, but few kids walk to school these days. Some day cringe they’ll probably have little motors in them, too.

The inventor of the Segway reversed off a cliff while riding it, and was killed. Ironic. People in my city seem to fall off them with no precipice necessary.

When is someone going to invent a self walking trunk that follows its master wherever they go?

The cartoon is unrealistic. The guy isn’t looking at a phone.

Self-walking shoes is kinda creepy.

After furthering the progress of sloth and obesity, those shoes will be wanting to tie one on.

Why not? Hand held devices have already created a huge crop of zombies…

A millionaire businessman who fell from a cliff while riding his Segway scooter probably died after trying to make way for a dog walker, an inquest has heard.Jimi Heselden, 62, reversed the machine to make way for another dog walker.Coroner David Hinchcliff said the boss of the Segway company apparently died due to this “act of courtesy”.

They make him look four feet taller.
