Once again, How can anyone not love the way this character is written?

Hope he finds the bear alive! This is the best comic strip in the world, have loved reading it for almost 60 years.

Death affects us all differently. Sorry for your loss Boog.

Hopefully Bear will return to his naturally-aggressive state and view the idiot child as a snack.

Mammals are affected by “cuteness” – even in another species.

I don’t think he will find Bear alive. Death happens, even in Gasoline Alley. Boog is a sweet child. His way of handling things that happen will allow him to look back on an ideal childhood. He won’t have to be one whose regret from childhood is that they wish they had been nicer.

I love when this family is written in strip. Boog you need your parent’s with you to support you. It is okay to cry for a loss.

It’s nice to see his parents offering to go with him, though I think it’s best when it’s just him with the forest animals and no outsiders.

Sorry to the haters, but I think this is the perfect Gasoline Alley type of story. This kind of story is what the strip was built on.

If you all need something to worry about, think what these idiot parents will name the new Kid ! What if it’s a girl ? Not Woogy, then the kids would be known as Boog e Woogy!!
