Must have used a REALLY OLD Andy Capp strip to copy for this comic. Andy hasn’t smoked in decades. He stopped smoking at the same time his creator stopped smoking. He thought if I am not going to smoke, neither is Andy.
I didn’t even know Andy Capp was still going, although I now find it’s available on this site. Just looked up the Wikipedia article on it. Another strip that has outlived its creator.
