You’re lucky that she only shut you down verbally, John. I"m surprised she didn’t whack you with a pillow for what you were implying!

I go to the gym every morning at 5 and workout for an hour. Of course, the noise doesn’t bother the other people at the gym.

I used to get up at 4:30am and be on the ice (skating) at 5:30 for an hour. Home again, shower and be at work at 8:30am. It was the only time of the day to fit it in when I was working! It becomes a habit and therefore, easier than trying to do it once in awhile! (Now, retired, I have trouble getting to the rink by 8! LOL)

I can think of a good exercise activity they can do together for 20 minutes.

I do 10 reps each morning. I’m ready for a heavier coffee cup!

Put your money where your mouth is, and stop trying to drop hints for EL. You have been officially told.

I exercise every day, but I can’t manage it first thing in the morning. Need some breakfast first to run on! ;)

I started an exercise routine in CA and kept it up for several years. Then I moved, and it was a year or more before I started up again. I could really tell the difference! Then I broke my foot, and before it healed, the gym closed. Moved again to Las Vegas and the gym closed before I could even investigate it. So much for the exercise program.

The truth is it requires two people in the same room to exercise.

And tomorrow they’ll be digging the hole in the back yard for the new swimming pool.
