Been with the love of my life for 22 years, why in gods name would we want to ruin a good thing by getting married. let her go Phil, you can do better.

Why does a nice girl like her want that man? The mind boggles!

We always see the worst of Phil. There must be more to him than this.perhaps he is addicted to something other than ciggerettes?Does he drink on the sly? Being a musician I suspect he’s rolled a doobie or 2 in his time.Addictions change a persons personality,makes them act strange,say things that make little sense to anyone but themselves.He may need a 12 step call…..just a thought.

Phil is immature and self centered to say the least.I would guess that he came from a dysfunctional family,but how did Elly turn out so good?I.guess its possible that their parents treated them differently,lavishing all their attention on Elly while ignoring Phil thus causing a lifetime of resentment.Ill have to ponder this some more.

I’ve always thought that if a person can be talked out of getting married, then that person should not marry. Marriage to the person you’re being married to should be because you can’t imagine living your life without that person. And the person you are marrying should feel the same about you.It’s “Nobody’s Business” who I am …;+)

Premarital sex plants the seed of distrust. If the man and woman can give into their urges without waiting, what is not to say that after marriage both partners will be tempted to commit adultery?

Note to my younger self: They don’t stop being jerks with the addition of a wedding ring…
