Reality Check We charge per bag as it's our only companies environmental policy to save trees. I don't need a bag... I'm just buying a pack of gum. Here's your receipt.
Just don’t burn it, or you’ll double your carbon footprint (not that it makes any difference compared to all the private jets flying to the climate change conferences)..
Two days ago, we got the usual question at the Pick-N-Save check-out, “How many (cloth) bags do you have?” We had finally counted them and said, “Six.” Their reply was, “We only pay for five.” Also, their nasty young packers love to force six big bottles of juice into one bag, knowing that a pint’s a pound the world around.

I got a receipt like that the last time I bought a cell phone.

Order a single donut at Dunkin’s & that is about as long as the receipt will be too… at least I feel I get my money’s worth :)

Most “green” policies by companies are just a means to boost charges and bottom lines.
