In a YouGov poll quoted in today’s NYT, http://www.nytimes.com/2016/02/25/upshot/measuring-donald-trumps-supporters-for-intolerance.html , 70% of Trump’s SC supporters think whites are the superior race, and nationally, 20% of them think freeing the slaves in 186x was wrong. Oh, and two guys appeared at a SC Trump rally in full KKK garb. I think Lalo’s case is made.
