Yeah, comic panel borders can be quite a pain.

Top panels must be tougher than the side ones…

I’d never seen a trampoline with netting around it like that, but Google Image Search shows that I’m out of touch. For a minute I thought that he was sleeping in some kind of weird enclosure and belching up something that was eating away at the top border…

See? Now you’ve gone and done it, Lio! Now, not only will “they” insist on safety netting around the periphery of the trampoline but also on kids wearing safety helmets when they get onto the trampoline, in case there’s a sturdy upper frame not far above!
