Methinks ’tis time to kick Peter off the team and ban him from the diamond for the rest of his high school career.

I seriously doubt that Peter brought enough to share. Considering his appetite.

Sorry coach, but that’s one point for Peter.

Way to get started on eating during the game.

I have to love Peter’s attitude. IF the coach told me I would never play, I’d be sure to bring popcorn, hot dogs, lots of pop and a magazine for those long boring innings when the other team is scoring run after run after run.Having coached for years if you want a kid to keep his head in the game and participate you don’t ever tell him ’you’ll never play’.Bad coaching – and great response imho

The coach bought it upon himself.

    Yep, bad coach.

But from someone who was not good in school sports myself, instead of just telling him what he can’t do, someone should help him find out what he can do and is good at.

So, I take it Peter said all that with his mouth full, and still spoke intelligibly? Not sure whether to be impressed or whether it’s par for the course for his giant appetite. (Didn’t mean to use a golf analogy for a baseball strip …)

This is actually pretty awesome. That coach is sort of getting what he deserves for not even trying to work with Peter on improving
