    My wife and I have been doing that for over 65 years. And we still say thank you and you’re welcome to each other. And I open doors for her, when she will let me.

    Friend of mine went on a “mission” trip to Russia several years ago. While talking to some men about how to be better husbands, he mentioned that every morning he gets up and makes coffee. When his wife wakes up, he presents her with a cup of hot coffee. One of the men said “I’d like to do that for my wife, but when I get up, she’s already out in the barn milking the cow!”.

    Well, if he’s not finished all Arlo needs to say it, “I’m not finished.” If he is finished, what does he care if she takes the glass. As far as lingering is concerned, he is still sitting in the same place, isn’t he?
