Of course there’s a reason! Cake! Cake is it’s own reason. And, if you have zero cakes, making a cake gives you more than zero cake. What other reasons could there possibly be?
Or Cookies!! Cookies are even better than cake. You get more of them and if handled right last almost as long as a cake. Plus they are less work. Cake take 300 strokes with a wooden spoon.
