Sort of gives a whole new meaning to the concept of a quickey.. Stand by for a reply from the Go Comics censor, Susan Schroeder. Come on Susan, don’the let us down.
“Ten Minutes” is shorthand, as when Homer leaves work with Marge in a sequence reminiscent of the end of “Office And A Gentleman” saying " I’m going to the back seat of my car with the woman I love, and I won’t be back for ten minutes."
She said, “It’s been many a day,Since we’ve had a good roll in the hay; What I now want from you, Is one more great screw. But this time, 5 minutes of foreplay.”
I think it’s sweet. What’s 10 minutes? ( Hopefully, a bit longer!) Just sleep in for God’s sake!! He will understand if you miss church once in awhile. After all…He IS the great creator! ;-)
And that song answers the questions about Janis’ “problem”!
You guys who don’t get it…she doesn’t have any problem with “losing” ten minutes…she just isn’t charmed by his offer of too little time.Without going into detail, let’s just say It’s the same way I feel about garages that offer a “10 minute oil change.”No thanks…. I want a place where they take time to do a good job.

I think Arlo is adding 10 minutes to the hour of lost sleep, the heck with Daylight Savings Time.

If we’re going to be honest, Arlo is spot on. That 10 minute liaison is more normal/average than many of us care to admit.

You only lose sleep if you set your alarm for Sunday morning. Most people sleep in on Sunday, so they are not losing any sleep.

She still doesn’t seem interested. Notice how she doesn’t even toss aside the e-reader, much less shuck the nightgown.
