It needs to be larger in proportion to his body mass. Much larger, or it doesn’t have any measurable effect.

    Mr. Edding needs a skateboard,

The way Mr, Edding is going, he’s gonna be at a dead run in 20 seconds. His legs are too short to do that. Which is why he has a permenant bruise on the end of his nose.

I believe Mr. Edding is deploying a sail rather than a chute.

It’s an assist chute, not a full parachute.

A drag chute, which he’s using “backwards”, like a sail… as Liverlips said….just to catch a breeze, and improve his speed.

It’s not for jumping off anything, just for a bit of propulsion…but I can tell you this…If he did jump off, he’d be fine.As long as he doesn’t look down or lose faith….

Cartoon physics is quite different from what we experience elsewhere.Another great reason to live right here, on Ballard Street.

    Re: Plastic Bags

You are not alone in the plastic bag collection. I actually have two plastic bags full of plastic bags. One for the larger, grocery store types and the other for the smaller kind.

Like coat hangers, they breed overnight and multiply when you’re not looking !

He can go downwind as long as he wants, now that his phone has Uber.

Mr. Edding is blown about by every wind of doctrine, it would seem. But at least, he is happy in being blown about.

Beviek and Susan et al. It looks like I am destined to miss you here. I am just too tired to stay awake very long. But I’ll try to leave comments more often. :-)
