Try wokking a cat. It’s really uncooperative then.

The only times my little dog did that, it was because he had something stuck in, or otherwise wrong with, one of his paws. A rock, a stick, a chunk of ice. Once you took care of that, he was fine.

Ravenwood – that’s a lot of name to lay on a small dog.

It’s easy to see what Olivia De Hound saw in Errol Flea (NEVER “Flee”). That dashing visage, the rakishly-cocked hat, the comforting paw on her shoulder, and the confident way he holds his saber. Of course she fell for him, what choice did she have? Plus, being a pirate, he probably stunk to high heaven and you know how bassets LOVE that.

Time to check in on C &C: Oh, Stel is promoting another Basset Brothers production:

And of course, our favorite starlet makes a purplie appearance.

Wow. Great as always. And purplie (extremely hot) like the weather forecast for some parts of Germany. The red (really bad) applied for some parts yesterday.

Only the Spain human version is hot-blooded hound enough to resemble that masterpiece – but no purplie:

Which realm is Ballard St in? We don’t normally speak in the 3rd person unless we’re in our own kingdom.

Good Morning Ballardeers and anyone that happens across this little family of basset lovers!

Qdate: 151.47634.44 Bright skies today, but yesterday? Hoo boy howdy. Ternader sirens, T-Storms with 70MPH winds knocking tree limbs down. One verified ternader way northeast of us along the Lake Michigan shore. We lost a limb from our maple in the back yard. Thought it was blown down until my son went outside to make sure it didn’t wreck any fences. I figured the squirrel that normally inhabits it probably had a pretty good scare from it.

Good thing he wasn’t in there or he’d be a crispy critter today. Turns out, it was hit by lightning. Black streak down the split and all of the mulch around the base of the tree was burned black.

Stel lar purplie poster today. I love when my swash is buckled.

Y’all be kind to your squirrels today. (((((HUGS)))))

What a beautiful (and purplie) homage to Olivia DeHound, Stel. She just passed away a few weeks ago at 104! Thanks for the memories.
