    I worked in technology all my life (I’m now retired).Technology can be a royal pain in the backside.I saw it screw up in some spectacular ways.

    I think we trust technology too much, and forget that we’re in charge of it, not vice versa. And we’re fallible, so it is too. But we’ve been for so long in love with the idea of artificial intelligence, and our hopes have been so high for it.

    The computer doesn’t tell you to do thing its way. The programmers tell you to do things their way. The computer does not have artificial intelligence. The computer does not have any intelligence. Blame the man, not the tool.
