I love the library! Hurricane Hattie O'Hara: They have computers you can use...they have concerts and show movies...and they have tons of DVDs and CDs you can borrow! Brutus: Yes, they do. Times certainly have changed! Brutus: Would you believe when I was your age, libraries didn't offer any of those things! Hurricane Hattie O'Hara: Really? Then what did you go to the library for?

Some would say that even the CDs and DVDs are superfluous. Not me, but some would.

I was reading “Killing Lincoln” on my older Kindle (the one with the forward and reverse buttons on the sides), when the page advance button gave up the ghost. It’s a good thing I knew how the story ended.

We went to the library as a family, since we had to go to a nearby city to find one. As non-residents, we had to pay to use it. Worth every penny.

I spent hours and hours at the library as a kid…loved reading and especially loved the reference books there with all the different cultures, maps, etc.
I didn’t have to pay Carl, but I would have….
