    Used to be, newspapers were “delivered” to the front door! Now you’re lucky if they land on the very end of the driveway…

    Ah yes Red there is inside and then inside the house. :-)

    On some days the Houston Chronicle is still big enough to take out a window. Never rolled tightly though, which would help to break the glass. It is always slipped in a bag. Only rarely does one slip out of the bag and fly all over the neighborhood.

    I can remember delivering papers and having to put them inside the storm door…

    I did a lot of walking in my youth…

    tcar-1And when you deduct the ads printed in the paper, and the editorials disguised as articles, it comes out to about three times the space for the still shrinking comics.
