Ray: Perfect day. huh lynn?
reminds me of the weather back home!
I googled that country you're from. Its not ob any map.
Noorh is a tiny troubled nation....
Guess its off the grid for now.,
Its a country, not a bad tweet
Ok, so this is Ray, the paroled convict, dating Lynn Chang, his now blond parole officer who apparently has a hidden background, last featured 6 weeks ago, when she was brunette, walking in summer clothing at a harbor after last week’s snowball fight at the precinct. No wonder we’re confused. Thx to those who provided links and hints.
But this strip confused me as well….for a few minutes…like who was she….and who is this guy again? Not sure why he’s suddenly the focus….it all started with adopting his dog.
I think he’s the focus because a) he’s Joe’s friend now, and b) his newly discovered half-sister is Joe’s boss’s sister, and c) there are some “interesting” developments coming up any minute now. I can’t wait to find out what happens next, and maybe to see what role Lynn will be playing in all this, if any. Also, his dogs (both former and current) are really cute… AND he makes for a nice redemption story…
I’m thinking also there are few things less stable than the way a woman looks. They’ll change their clothes, their shoes, their waistline, their bra size, even their hair and eye color as their whim dictates. So, if Lynn wants to be blonde now, then so be it.
I looked at the strip on 3-7-16. Lynn is in the background while Frank and Joe are in the foreground. Ray and Lynn are both dark with no color while Frank and Joe are in color. Sometimes artists use that technique to draw attention to what is in the foreground moreso. It’s possible that she is not brunette, but her entire appearance along with Ray’s is darker just because she’s in the background, sort of in a shadow.

I let this strip go for a couple years. Back for about a month or so. Who is this guy? What’s his story?

In the DC area we had 80°F one day and snow 5 days later….so our weather (Baltimore’s also) is unpredictable…but they try anyway.

it’s comics folks…..it doesn’t have to have a plot….it’s just supposed to entertain you and hopefully make you laugh on occasion.

Im not being stero-typing, you find me a “Chang” that is not Asian….at all. Asian traits are dominate.
