Considering the long-lasting trauma, football players get the most sympathy from me for the lack of fully-guaranteed contracts such as baseball has..But then Marvin Miller is woefully underrated as a leader.

A quick Google search:Ronaldo makes about 15 million a year and Messi makes around 30 million. Both are at the very top of their field and soccer is the world’s biggest sport.
