As NABUQUDURIUZHUR says, cleaning birds birds is for guilt ridden suburbanites with a 50 mile commute complaining about pollution. Had to be BP’s fault, I don’t use that much oil. Er, how much jet fuel you use flying to the Gulf to help?

Drug cartels wouldn’t murder if we didn’t abuse drugs BP wouldn’t drill if we didn’t abuse energy

Wash your hands with Pilate and cast a stone or two..

You tell ‘em. And keep the oil spill comics coming. We need to remember, even when it’s not in the news.

Is Peter’s Oil associated with BP?

    Good Morning, Ladywolf, ♠Lonewolf♠, LuvH8 & Tanya!

Reactors are great for fixed-use installations, or seagoing uses, but land and air need something a bit more portable…. Although railroads could benefit from cheap nuclear power (straight electric traction), trucks and cars not so much. There’s the whole range vs weight thing working here if you’re thinking batteries… and you still haven’t addressed air travel at all…

Let’s get started on ‘Land’ Nuke applications to replace Oil & Coal Power. Then see where the Law of Diminishimg Returns’ puts us. We are way behind France in getting it right. Any car that usually transits less than 50 miles per day is a candidate for Electric.

The bird survival rates people keep thinking of are from the Exxon Valdez spill decades ago. It’s much improved these days.

My great aunts had an electric car in the 1920s.

Electric cars were good for city driving, not so good for long distance travel.

There was a big oil spill in China shortly after the BP fiasco.

Interesting that there is very little news coverage of it.
