Kinda remembering a U.S. Acres rerun that ran recently. Booker saying “Mush is mush” to comments about a book that features a character who kisses his horse at the end of the book.
If Snoopy does belong to Shermy, that would explain Shermy’s anger better than Charlie Brown using Snoopy like a husky. Huskies are sled dogs, not beagles. Although Snoopy does look happy being a sled dog.
Does anyone read the existing comments before commenting? The question posed, re-posed, and over-posed was answered clearly and early and precisely. OK, some got and acknowledged the answer… but many went on as if there were still no answer. Sheesh. Do we still know what “sheesh” means?

a) It’s Violet, not Patty. b) I think “Mush” also means “nonsense”. (I think.)

I’m amazed at the number of people that didn’t get this comic. Is it only us old fogy’s that understand the “mush” to also mean “mushy”??

Charlie Brown is calling Shermy’s sweet-nothings “MUSH!” (In other words: BS) Now, you get it? (Took me a little bit, too!)
