Well, I didn’t understand all that sports talk, but hey, it got him the right answers. I suppose it doesn’t matter how he got there as long as he got there!

My son used to do the same kind of thing, but with money instead of sports. Really amazed his second grade teachers that he could answer fairly difficult addition and subtraction problems in his head.

Infield fly is easy. Call the out in the air so the infield can not intentionally not catch the ball to turn the double play. Players are taught to stay near the bag on pop ups.

Today’s kids would need a calculator for this, or an app on their hand held device…
