Go ahead, CB; she won’t let you kick anything in the future.

If Charlie Brown could have known how mean she was going to be to him in the future, he would have probably done it… or perhaps not. He’s too wish… I mean, gentle for that.

Admiring the artist’s craft here. Specifically in frame 2, it’s just the one line of CB’s eyebrow that telegraphs his evil intent. Draw a curve, and he could just be running past yelling, not being a brat who enjoys the idea of kicking down a baby’s tower. (Of course in Frame 3, we see the leg drawn back and we know what he’s up to!)

Thus, the seeds for Lucy’s eternal revenge are planted… ;)
