Ah yes. I remember reading this as a very small child with chicken pox, out of the first Peanuts collection paperback. I also remember wondering why CB was eating lunch (alone) at Patty’s, or Patty was playing at CB’s house while he ate lunch alone.
I’ve had bear soup. Well, bear stew actually. I don’t recommend it. It’s sort of like especially gristly beef with a sort of fishy flavor. I guess that’s because bears eat fish. :-P

I’m the opposite. I can’t stand crackers in my soup. Then again, I’m not a big fan of soup in general…especially tomato.
