About one cactus in a hundred has anything interesting to say. Unless it’s peyote.

@notus, some cats just can’t help themselves. I had a pretty little cat once who couldn’t really handle the high jumps. She would climb on a table and attempt to jump to the top of the china cabinet. She always fell, and if she didn’t, then she couldn’t get down. It got to the point where she would meow with the most pathetic sound when she got ready to jump. It never occurred to her to not attempt the jump; she was just crying in advance of her inevitable fail.

Georgia, this is delightfully daffy. It somehow reminds me of conversations my husband and I have. And Elvis’ POOF when the “cactus” greets him is hysterical.
