That would really reduce the number of prisoners from Illinois.

I’ve long supported the pillory as a mandatory part of the punishment for abuse-of-political office crimes. Public humiliation is altogether fitting, and in no way chafes at the 8th Amendment.

Go by the prison and throw a whole bunch of money over the wall. The next day throw cards and dice. The next day throw booze. The next day throw guns and knives; by that time there will have been so many arguments and fights they’ll kill each other.

In D.C. they already do that. It is the unwritten body of law.

Decriminalize possession of weed for personal use. Take it off the Schedule 1 drug list, and set a price of $1.00 per ounce, 2 ounce per day limit.

@jgordy24In Illinois they would charge $37.00 per ounce. $1.00 per ounce for the weed and $36.00 per ounce for tax!

I like Ron White’s comment, “Texas has the death penalty and we use it! That’s right. You kill somebody in Texas, we will kill you right back! That’s our policy!”

I figure that if they make all the rules, they should follow them.
